A.D.O.M.
(Association pour la Défense de l'œuvre de Joan Miró)

ADOM, Association pour la Défense de l'oeuvre de Joan Miró, was created on 30th January 2008 with the purpose to protect, develop and promote knowledge of the works of the artist.

It consists of seven members, under the presidency of Ariane Lelong-Mainaud, including the direct descendants of the painter and the greatest specialists of his work. The committee meets regularly to establich authenticity of works that they have received. It also issues certificates of authenticity and takes appropriate legal action forgeries, imitations and other fraudulent behaviour with respect to the works of Joan Miró. However, the printed works by Joan Miró, such as etchings and lithographs, must be addressed to the Fundació Miró in Barcelona. It is the director of this institution, Mrs. Rosa Maria Malet, and not ADOM, who considers the authenticity of all prints by Miró. For further information, please contact www.fundaciomiro-bcn.org
